Airedale Assisted:  Daisy 11-028-IA
Rescue Group: Starting Over Airedale Rescue
Amount: $2,609.42

Daisy came from a breeding situation.  Rescue volunteer, Fran, could not leave this Daisy behind to be euthanized, which is what the breeder was going to do.  Her last litter had all died.  She was skin and bones…just weighing 49 pounds.  It was originally thought that her raw skin was due to fly bites all over her face and parts of her body.  Her feet were bloody and twice their size.  As it turned out, she had Demodex Mange and various bacterial infections.  She was also autoimmune.  Her recovery took several months.  The good news is that she is safe now and SOAR tended to her needs and helped her heal both inside and out.Her foster mom could not bear to part with she never left.
